Dear CICTP2023 Contributors:

Thank you again for contributing to CICTP2023 as paper authors, presenters, or in any other capacity! If you are informed to present your paper in the Poster Presentation format (an email will be sent to confirm your presentation format), please follow the instructions below to prepare and upload your poster.

Poster Preparation:

• Size, Font, and Format:

o You may choose any size for your poster. It is usually made as a single slide using Microsoft Powerpoint, but you may also choose other software package (e.g., MS Illustrator). A recommended size is 120cm*90cm (48inch*36inch). You can set it in Powerpoint->Design->Slide Size.

o You may use any fonts and format you see fit to present your research content. A general guidance is to make it simple and clear. Avoid overwhelming viewers with too much information, the casual viewer should be able to identify the main messages after a quick look at the poster.

o The full paper is available in the conference proceedings. So make the paper title, the list of authors and their affiliation visible. Include CICTP2023 at a highly visible location.

o Use strong contrast colors between the text and the background if you choose to do so.

• Content

o You may choose any appropriate way to present your research work through the poster. A general guidance is to highlight your research motivations and major

conclusions. You may also describe your methods and data briefly, but try to avoid overwhelming readers with too many details.

o Tables and figures may be more effective in conveying your message. Try to provide sufficient context using annotations accompanying the tables and figures so they can be self-supported.

o You may include acknowledgement at the end of your poster.

• Poster Preparation:

o Please print your poster and bring it with you when attending the conference.

ASCE requires all papers to be published in the conference proceedings must be presented in the conference either in Poster or Podium format. Fail to do so may lead to the exclusion of your paper from the conference proceedings!
